Improving Enquiry Handling and Reducing Admin Load with Conversational AI
Healthcare - Specialist Cosmetic Clinic

Challenge

A specialist cosmetic clinic in London’s medical district was experiencing high volumes of inbound enquiries related to consultations, procedures, and appointment availability. Front-desk staff were spending significant time handling repetitive calls, particularly during peak hours and outside normal business hours. This resulted in missed or delayed enquiries, increased administrative pressure on staff, and lost opportunities to convert prospective patients into consultations.

Solution

Sunkite Consulting deployed a conversational AI voice agent on a limited pilot basis to handle routine inbound enquiries and support follow-up interactions. The solution was configured to reflect the clinic’s services, tone, and operating hours, with clear escalation paths to human staff when required. The AI agent was designed to augment existing workflows rather than replace staff, ensuring safe and ethical adoption in a patient-facing clinical environment.

Results

  • Significant reduction in missed and unanswered enquiries
  • Improved response times for prospective patients, including outside standard business hours
  • Reduced administrative workload for front-desk staff
  • More consistent handling of routine enquiries
  • Positive staff feedback on workflow efficiency and reduced operational pressure

Handling Old Sales Leads with Conversational AI
Healthcare - Specialist Cosmetic Clinic

Challenge

A specialist cosmetic clinic in London’s medical district had a large number of unclosed historical sales leads that had not progressed to consultation. Patient advisors were reluctant to follow up on these older leads due to the perceived low conversion rates compared to new enquiries. As a result, potentially interested prospects were not re-engaged, leading to missed revenue opportunities and underutilisation of existing lead data.

Solution

Sunkite Consulting deployed a conversational AI voice agent on a limited pilot basis to conduct outbound follow-up calls to historical leads. The AI agent was configured to reflect the clinic’s services, tone, and calling policies, with appropriate consent handling and clear escalation paths to human patient advisors when a prospect expressed renewed interest. The solution was designed to augment existing sales workflows by re-qualifying dormant leads and prioritising high-intent prospects for human follow-up.

Results

  • Re-engagement of previously dormant sales leads
  • Identification of high-intent prospects suitable for human follow-up
  • Reduced reluctance among patient advisors to pursue older leads
  • More efficient use of existing lead databases
  • Improved pipeline visibility for potential consultation bookings

Multi-Channel Youth Engagement Platform for Sexual and Reproductive Health
Non-Profit / NGO – Youth and Sexual & Reproductive Health Programmes

Challenge

NGO partners operating in Nigeria, Senegal, and Mali were receiving a high volume of sensitive questions from young people on sexual and reproductive health through multiple disconnected channels, including SMS, WhatsApp, email, phone calls, and web forms. On average, each country handled around 100 enquiries per day. Counsellors were required to manage these channels separately, leading to operational inefficiencies, limited visibility of demand patterns, and difficulties in producing consolidated reporting for donor-supported programmes. The solution also needed to work reliably in low-bandwidth environments and support multiple languages.

Solution

SunKite Consulting designed and implemented Conecta, a web-based multi-channel communication hub that centralised all incoming youth enquiries into a single platform. Young people could submit questions via SMS, WhatsApp, email, web forms, or phone calls, while trained counsellors logged into a secure dashboard to respond. The platform was deployed in a country-specific manner, supporting English in Nigeria and French in Senegal and Mali. An integrated analytics dashboard provided programme managers with visibility into enquiry volumes, channel usage, and response activity, supporting operational oversight and donor reporting. The solution was designed to augment human counsellors, preserving trust, empathy, and safeguarding standards.

Results

  • Centralised handling of approximately 100 youth enquiries per day per country
  • Sustained operation over long periods, including more than 20 years of continuous use in Nigeria
  • Improved operational efficiency for counsellors through a single unified interface
  • Increased accessibility for young people through SMS, voice, and low-bandwidth channels
  • Enhanced programme visibility and reporting to support donor-funded initiatives

Wababa: Crowd-Sourced Mapping of Youth-Friendly Family Planning Services
Non-Profit / NGO – Sexual and Reproductive Health Programmes

Challenge

Young people across Ghana faced difficulties identifying nearby, youth-friendly family planning services due to fragmented, outdated, or inaccessible information. There was no single trusted national source showing service locations, services offered, or suitability for young users. Maintaining up-to-date service data at scale was challenging, and there were limited mechanisms for young people to share feedback on the quality of services received. The solution needed to be mobile-first, support local languages, work in low-bandwidth environments, and incorporate safeguarding considerations for users under 18.

Solution

SunKite Consulting delivered Wababa, a progressive web application and mobile app that enabled young people to discover nearby family planning services through an interactive, location-aware map. The platform displayed verified service points nationwide, including details of services offered and directions from the user’s current location. Users could submit feedback on services received and propose new service points through a structured crowd-sourcing workflow. All new submissions were reviewed and verified before publication to ensure data quality and trust. The solution supported local languages and embedded safeguarding principles appropriate for younger users. SunKite Consulting led end-to-end delivery in partnership with Afri-Consult, a Ghana-based consultancy providing local contextual support.

Results

  • Nationwide rollout across Ghana with local language support
  • Nearly 1,000 family planning service points mapped
  • Improved visibility and accessibility of youth-friendly family planning services
  • Active youth participation through service point submissions and feedback
  • Demonstrated effectiveness of verified crowd-sourcing for national-scale public health mapping

Maya Hackew: Offline-First Mobile e-Learning for Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health
Non-Profit / NGO – Youth Education and Public Health Programmes

Challenge

Young people in Mali faced limited access to reliable, age-appropriate information on sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, and HIV/AIDS. Although validated educational content existed through government sources, delivery at scale was constrained by social stigma, inconsistent school-based coverage, unreliable internet connectivity, high data costs, and wide variation in device quality. The solution needed to support both French and local languages, allow private self-paced learning for sensitive topics, and function reliably in low-bandwidth and offline contexts for users aged 9 to 25.

Solution

SunKite Consulting delivered Maya Hackew, a mobile-first e-learning platform implemented as both a progressive web application and a cross-platform mobile app. The platform delivered structured learning modules using official curriculum-aligned content supplied by the Ministry of Education of Senegal. The application was designed with an offline-first architecture, enabling learners to download content and continue learning without continuous internet access. Support for French and local languages ensured inclusivity, while embedded quizzes reinforced understanding and encouraged active engagement. A single shared codebase enabled consistent delivery across web and mobile environments while minimising operational overhead.

Results

  • Expanded access to trusted sexual and reproductive health education for youth in Mali
  • Reliable learning experience in low-connectivity and offline environments
  • Improved learner engagement through interactive quizzes and self-paced modules
  • Effective reuse of government-approved educational content through a scalable digital channel

Click Info Junior: Offline-First Mobile e-Learning for Adolescent Health Education
Non-Profit / NGO – Youth Education and Sexual & Reproductive Health Programmes

Challenge

Teenage school children in Senegal had limited access to reliable, age-appropriate information on sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, teenage pregnancy, child marriage, and HIV/AIDS. Existing education delivery relied largely on in-person sessions and printed materials, restricting reach, consistency, and privacy for learners. These challenges were compounded by unreliable internet connectivity, high data costs, and the widespread use of low-cost devices. The solution needed to support French and local languages, enable private self-paced learning for sensitive topics, function fully offline, and incorporate safeguarding controls suitable for users under 18.

Solution

SunKite Consulting delivered Click Info Junior, an offline-first progressive web application designed specifically for teenage school children. The platform provided structured e-learning modules covering sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, teenage pregnancy, child marriage, and HIV/AIDS. Content was delivered in French and local languages to ensure inclusivity and comprehension. The application was built to function fully offline once installed, allowing uninterrupted learning in low-connectivity environments. Interactive quizzes were embedded within modules to reinforce learning outcomes, while safeguarding considerations were integrated into content structure and user flows to ensure responsible delivery of sensitive subject matter.

Results

  • Improved access to adolescent health education in low-connectivity and offline environments
  • Consistent delivery of age-appropriate, sensitive educational content at scale
  • Enhanced learner engagement through interactive quiz-based learning
  • Increased inclusivity through multilingual support for French and local languages
  • A reusable and scalable digital learning platform for school and youth programmes
